Research is a core component of the mission and educational philosophy of the American University of the Middle East (AUM). The University gives a particular importance on promoting and supporting research and publication activities across its research directions which include multiple themes and fields of study in environmental sustainability.
As per the below figures, AUM research contributions are showing a progressively stronger alignment with the university's research themes. These themes were developed to mainly reflect Kuwait National Development Plan 2035, AUM eco-system supporting research, academic offerings, and faculty expertise.
Note: A detailed report on Environmental Research is provided separately.
