The American University of the Middle East (AUM) offers both indoor and outdoor food courts that accommodate a large number of students and faculty/staff, providing convenient access to a wide variety of healthy and affordable food options without the need to leave campus during study or working hours.
Numerous restaurants and cafés, representing reputable local Kuwaiti, regional, UK-based, and US-based brands, are located across different areas of the campus. These outlets operate under stringent food safety guidelines and adopt sustainable food practices, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, and service. To further support the university community, food and beverage options are offered at discounted prices of up to 30%, making them reasonably priced compared to external market rates.
Designated representatives from AUM conduct regular visits to these restaurants and cafés to ensure that cleanliness, hygiene, and service standards are consistently maintained at an optimal level.
Among the brands available on campus are Healthy Snacks and Meals (PICK), Pret A Manger, Costa Coffee, Subway, CAF, Chocolate Bar, and Trolley (Convenience Store).
